KLIA is known to be the gateway into Malaysia. Whether it is a tourist, overseas professionals or even Malaysians themselves, it would be the first building they’d see when stepping foot on Malaysian soil.
Non diverse advertisements in KLIA
Unfortunately, the advertisements that are well pronounced all over the terminals are pictures of faces. Furthermore, these faces are not how the average Malaysian would look like. This may give a confusing take to tourists or others who are not from our region.
However, netizens fought back against the comments as they claimed that local talents are requesting for higher pay when compared to their international counterparts. Furthermore, claims of local talent showing up late is another excuse used.
There were netizens that stated local models are fun to work with and would provide reasonable rates. KLIA did respond to the netizen stating that they will take further consideration of this complaint and would try to improve upon the situation.
