A viral video done by an influencer has stirred a buzz on X. Netizens feel that some users are upset when a Malaysian would speak or make content in English instead of our national language. Many find this to be a contradictory statement.

Users add that if the contrary is done, there will be many upset with the whole idea. Additionally, some users are jabbing the influencer for making a controversial statement. For those who commonly use English, there will be labels thrown on them.
However, the influencer explained that he simply finds the whole idea to be ironic as there are some who disapprove of the teaching of Jawi in classes but are still willing to make content in Bahasa Malaysia. But, some may argue that Jawi is different from our national language due to the character differences.
