Anwar’s remarks came in response to a Harian Metro investigation highlighting long-standing prostitution activities in Kuala Lumpur, contrasting with Indonesia’s successful closure of Southeast Asia’s largest prostitution center, Dolly, in Surabaya. Following a recent raid by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on prostitution hubs in Pudu, police identified four locations, including Jalan Petaling, Jalan Gelang, Jalan Pudu, and Hotel Richmoore, offering low-cost sex services.
