The US has reached a grim milestone with more than 700,000 death from COVID-19 in the country and officials are saying this is because tens of millions of Americans refused to get vaccinated.

The authorities are saying jabs are readily and widely available in the US but many have chosen not to get vaccinated for various reasons.

The Joe Biden government is having difficulties pushing for the vaccination campaign despite a rise in Delta variant cases across the country.
