Customers from Singapore are welcomed back

1 min read

Singaporean customers had been flocking to the Pasar Karat market in Johor Baru’s city centre for years. However, the Covid-19 epidemic and Malaysia’s migration restrictions dimmed the night market’s lights.

The shoppers returned on Friday (April 1), following the relaxation of restrictions that permitted fully vaccinated persons to freely travel between Singapore and Malaysia.

With many shops reliant on Singaporeans, the total opening of the two nations’ borders should assist these enterprises in surviving.
