KUALA LUMPUR — Any DAP resignations by leaders from ministerial or GLC posts would not automatically trigger a general election as long as the party continues supporting Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in Parliament, political analysts said.
DAP Resignations
This comes after DAP secretary‑general Anthony Loke said the party will use its July national congress to decide whether it should continue holding government positions. Senior leaders have hinted at reconsidering their role in the unity government following disappointing results in the Sabah state election, with some suggesting resignations if key reforms are not delivered within six months.
