DAPSY Warns MACC Against Investigations
While DAPSY supports anti-corruption efforts, Woo stressed that enforcement must be guided by professionalism, due process, and civil liberties. He questioned the necessity of targeting an ordinary citizen with such intensity, noting the individual is neither a fugitive nor a corporate figure.
Woo urged MACC to avoid selective enforcement and political witch-hunts, warning that public confidence and the Unity Government’s credibility could suffer if investigations appear disproportionate or politically motivated.
