KUALA LUMPUR: The founder of KK Group of Companies, Datuk Seri Dr. KK Chai, was named Entrepreneur of the Year at the SEBA 2024 Awards. His company, KK Supermart, operates a chain of convenience stores in Malaysia, Nepal, and India. The prestigious event, themed “Beyond Boundaries | Taking Connections Further,” also honored BERNAMA Chairman Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai with the Media Personality of the Year Award. The 11th edition of SEBA recognized industry leaders across various sectors, including retail, technology, and healthcare. The event, attended by Sabah Governor Tun Juhar Mahiruddin, underscored SEBA’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship growth in ASEAN.
