The Malaysian government recently announced a slight reduction in diesel prices after previously stating that the diesel subsidy would be removed, raising prices from RM2.15 to RM3.35 per litre.
Diesel price cut by 5 sen
Effective today until August 14, the retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia has been reduced by five sen to RM3.30 per litre due to moderating global crude oil prices.
However, this price drop does not apply to Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan, where diesel remains at RM2.15 per litre. RON97 and RON95 petrol prices remain unchanged.
