MIC Leader M Saravanan acknowledged dissatisfaction among Indian voters in Ayer Kuning, a crucial demographic, due to recent controversies involving individuals like Zamri Vinoth and Firdaus Wong, who he claims provoke sensitive issues. Despite this, he remains confident, stating the Indian community has matured and can discern the truth.
“There are quite a number of people who are not happy, and I understand why,” he said.

Saravanan suggested suspicions of “hidden hands” behind these controversies, implying political manipulation. He believes this sentiment won’t significantly impact Barisan Nasional’s performance, as the community’s growing awareness and BN’s strong local ties will prevail in the April 26 by-election.
