Drug Suspect Deliberately Injures Himself Under Moving Lorry in Bangi

A 43-year-old man believed to be under the influence of drugs deliberately stuck his leg under a moving lorry near Jalan Pekan Bangi Lama, Bangi, an act captured on dashcam and reported to police. Kajang police chief Naazron Abdul Yusof said the suspect, who appeared disoriented, will be arrested after receiving treatment.

The suspect has 19 prior drug-related offences and two criminal records. The case is being probed under Section 336 of the Penal Code for endangering life. A viral 1-minute 15-second video shows the man clutching his leg post-incident as bystanders rushed to assist. Police urge witnesses to come forward.
