The Royal Malaysian Customs Department seized 98.33 kg of methamphetamine and cannabis worth RM2.89 million in three raids in Sabah. On November 28, they intercepted 60.977 kg of methamphetamine at the Mas Kargo warehouse.

Another 20.201 kg was seized on December 9. Between November 28 and December 20, 17.15 kg of cannabis was found at the Pos Aviation facility. On January 2, Customs found 50 boxes of chewing tobacco at Sepanggar Port, valued at RM38,500, with unpaid taxes of RM156,310.
