Baker’s Cottage followed Singapore Food Agency (SFA) standards and is taking steps to prevent future incidents. The SFA warns that Shiga toxin-producing E. coli can cause severe diarrhoea and vomiting, and potentially fatal kidney failure in vulnerable groups.
