EFP withdrawals of RM101 billion won’t impact the market

The RM101 billion in withdrawals from the Employees Provident Fund’s (EPF) i-Sinar, i-Lestari, and i-Citra facilities, according to Deputy Finance Minister I Mohd Shahar Abdullah, will have no impact on the domestic financial market.

“Withdrawals of RM101 billion from the EPF i-Sinar, i-Lestari, and i-Citra facilities will have no impact on domestic financial markets.”

“The Strategic Asset Allocation method is being implemented to cover all withdrawals made during the withdrawal eligibility period,” he said today in a statement to Dewan Rakyat.
