Muhyiddin expressed his gratitude on Facebook but noted his expectation for a more comprehensive strategy to tackle overall price reductions.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced the price cuts, setting the new retail prices at 42 sen for Grade A eggs, 40 sen for Grade B, and 38 sen for Grade C. The government aims to pass on savings from targeted subsidies to the public, as part of its broader economic measures.
