KOTA KINABALU, Nov 10 — A 62-year-old man who went missing after bathing in the Trusan Sapi river near Kampung Bakong, Beluran, was found dead on Monday. His family raised the alarm when he failed to return home, discovering his boat still moored at the riverbank.
Crocodile Attack
Fire and rescue teams arrived around noon, and villagers later found an incomplete body about 10 metres from where he was last seen. Authorities suspect a crocodile attack. The remains were handed over to police for investigation, while wildlife officials have been alerted to the reptile’s possible presence in the area.
