Malaysians planning to travel to European Union or Schengen member countries in 2024 will be required to obtain an online document called ETIAS. It stands for European Travel Information and Authorisation System.
RM36 Only?
The online document, which costs €7 (RM36), will be mandatory for all Malaysians between the ages of 18 and 70. Minors and applicants over 70 years old will receive it free of charge. The application process is online and takes approximately 10 minutes, with approval granted within minutes.
ETIAS Needed
ETIAS allows Malaysians to stay in Europe for up to 90 days within a 180-day period for tourism, leisure visits, or business trips.
