Starting May 19, the dedicated bus lane along Jalan Ampang will be extended to evening peak hours from 4.30pm to 7pm on weekdays. This initiative, led by Rapid Bus in collaboration with Selangor JKR, aims to ease congestion and improve travel times along a 0.62km stretch.

Beneficiaries include routes 300 and 303 and feeder buses from several nearby areas. Since its launch in July 2023, the lane has increased passenger numbers by 12.5% and cut travel time by up to 15 minutes. A three-month evaluation will be conducted with MIROS and MOT to monitor the lane’s effectiveness and traffic impact.
