Police intercepted two cars and found 400,000 white cigarettes worth RM473,000 at Kampung Dalam, Tumpat. One suspect was apprehended, while another escaped.
Fake Branded Handbags Worth RM435,000 Seized in Rantau Panjang
The case is under investigation. In a separate case, police seized 435 fake branded handbags worth RM435,000 in Rantau Panjang, Pasir Mas. A 34-year-old man was detained for transporting the imitation handbags from Thailand.
The case is being investigated under the Trademarks Act 2019. The suspect and seized items were handed over to the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living.
