KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 24 — A large tree uprooted by persistent rain has fallen onto the Jalan Ampang Muslim Cemetery, damaging several graves including those near the resting place of film icons P. Ramlee and Saloma. Viral videos show the tree’s exposed roots and broken tombstones. Kuala Lumpur City Hall said crews are clearing debris and securing the area.

The site, located near the Saloma Link, was affected amid prolonged downpours across the Klang Valley. DBKL has deployed teams to handle traffic, monitor river levels, and remove hazards. Flash floods in Shah Alam have also forced road closures in Seksyen 19 and 24.
