Police will arrest the driver involved in a fatal traffic accident near UTC Sentul after investigations are completed, according to Kuala Lumpur authorities. Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief ACP Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa said the 85-year-old victim died from severe head injuries at Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
Fatal Sentul Accident
The accident occurred around 9.15am on January 11 near Jalan 1/48A, Bandar Baru Sentul. Initial investigations found the driver of a Honda Odyssey struck the pedestrian while exiting shop lots and turning right. The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act. Witnesses have been urged to come forward.
