Federal Funds for KHTP Stalled Due to Land Ownership Issues
This accusation does not provide the full picture. The Kedah government requested a loan from the federal government for Phase 5 KHTP. The federal government, through the Ministry of Economy, approved RM195 million.
However, the project cannot proceed due to land issues. The Kedah government claims to have identified new land but wants the Ministry to release funds before resolving ownership issues. Projects often stall due to unresolved land ownership.
