Federal police have taken over investigations into the syringe attack on the 12-year-old son of Pandan MP Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli. Previously handled by Selangor police, the case is now centralised for a more comprehensive probe.
Federal Police Take Over Probe into Attack on Rafizi’s Son
The attack occurred on August 12 in Putrajaya, when two men on a motorcycle allegedly tailed Rafizi’s wife’s car before stabbing the boy with a syringe. Rafizi linked the assault and subsequent threats against his wife to attempts to silence him over a potential scandal.
Businessman Datuk Seri Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak denied rumours of involvement, while police continue pursuing leads from CCTV footage.
