A man in the Philippines, Boljulio Aleria, fought off a 3m python that attacked him while he was riding his motorcycle. The snake bit his hand and coiled around his waist. To defend himself, Aleria bit the python’s neck, peeled off its skin, and tore at its flesh for about 10 minutes until it died. Aleria then sought medical help and was treated for his injuries.
