Firefighters Help Move 350kg Teacher in Alor Gajah

ALOR GAJAH – Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) personnel assisted in relocating a 40-year-old teacher weighing about 350 kilograms at his home in Taman Sri Gemilan, Kuala Sungai Baru, early this morning. Public Relations Officer Mohd. Hafidzatullah Rashid said an emergency call was received at 2.56am reporting the man was stuck in the bathroom and unable to move.

A team of eight firefighters from Masjid Tanah station, led by Senior Fire Officer Zaidi Kadiron, took 20 minutes to move him using a fire truck. The man, suffering from a leg infection and asthma, was later taken to Alor Gajah Hospital. Photo: Kosmo!
