The local portal says though AirAsia’s Tony Fernandes is a marketing champion, he is making critical marketing blunders and this is showing a less-glowing image of the latter.
The portal refers to Tony’s latest blunder in which he posed in a selfie showing off his brand new Tesla electric car, claiming he is going green on Malaysia’s independence day.
But the paper says, “the self-proclaimed marketing whiz misread the sentiment of his social media followers, many who have huge misgivings about AirAsia’s track record. The reaction to his posting was swift and brutal.“
