Additionally, DBKL issued 51 compound notices for various offences related to conducting business without a license, employing foreigners, and breaching license conditions under the Trade, Business, and Industrial Licensing Bylaws (WPKL) 2016 and the Local Government Act 1976. DBKL will issue show-cause letters to premises, owners of local citizens, recommending termination or cancellation of business licenses for allowing foreigners to operate.
The operation involved collaboration with the Royal Malaysian Police, the Malaysian Immigration Department, the National Registration Department, and the Companies Commission of Malaysia.
