Former “mat rempit” (illegal racer) Mohd Razif Aini, 38, has turned his life around and is now helping others do the same. Once deeply involved in dangerous street racing, Razif decided to quit after getting married and realising the risks.

He has since opened a fishing pond and now organises fishing competitions for fellow “mat rempits” (illegal racers) to steer them away from street racing. His initiative offers an alternative activity that promotes safer hobbies. 

To attract participants, Razif even uses his prized Yamaha RXZ motorcycle as a competition prize, aiming to show young racers the benefits of a healthier lifestyle.
