KUALA LUMPUR, March 2 — A four-year-old boy was found dead after a fire broke out at the People’s Housing Project (PPR) Kampung Muhibbah here at 2.59 pm. The Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department dispatched teams from Bukit Jalil and Sri Petaling stations, who discovered the boy’s charred body in a room on the 10th floor.

He is believed to have died at the scene. The victim lived with his mother, whose status remains unconfirmed. The blaze, affecting 20×40 square feet, was controlled by 3.17 pm. Thirteen firefighters were involved. The cause is under investigation. — Photo for Illustraion only
