Bersatu Youth Chief Muhammad Hilman Idham has criticised the government over the latest fuel price hikes, calling them a new burden on Malaysians, especially the B40 and M40 groups.

He warned that rising diesel, RON95, and RON97 prices will trigger inflation, raising food, transport, and essential costs. Hilman questioned whether the increases were solely due to Middle East conflicts, noting Petronas’ higher revenues from global oil prices.
He expressed concern over reports of reduced RON95 subsidy quotas and urged a comprehensive plan to stabilise diesel prices. Hilman accused the Madani government of failing and demanded immediate accountability.
