In December, Singapore will host the first-ever community-driven arts initiative called Giant Delight, featuring oversized food-themed installations across 14 neighbourhoods. Led by Community Arts & Culture Clubs (CACCs), the project will involve 19 artists and around 1,400 residents, showcasing uniquely themed sculptures like gigantic durians and towering cendol cups. These installations aim to celebrate the distinct heritage of each neighbourhood while fostering community pride and connection. The project will culminate in a display at PAssionArts Street during Chingay 2025, offering a platform for residents and artists to bond over shared culinary traditions.
