The girlfriend of a man who claims he was almost scammed at the Bangi PPV is under police investigation for her tweets.
Police have dismissed allegations about discrepancies during the man’s vaccination process.
They are now investigating the man’s girlfriend’s tweets under the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 (CMA) for the July 17 incident.
An investigation found that the staff at the PPV clearly explained the vaccination procedure to the man who was then satisfied.
Identified as Ariff the man told local media he was shown an empty vaccine vial during the vaccination process. After he stared at the syringe, he was given a fresh injection.
While police are dismissing his claims, they are now interested in the girlfriend.
In her tweets, she cautioned the public to ensure they received full doses of the vaccine.
Her tweets were widely read and shared, prompting a reply from the authorities.
