The Longest Glow in the Dark Road Markings is Now Found in Kedah

After Semenyih, the first ‘glow in the dark’ road in Kedah was implemented in Padang Sanai, Padang Terap. According to Kedah’s Exco for Works, Natural Resources, Water Supply, Environment, and Water Resources, Mohamad Yusoff @ Munir Zakaria, the road marking spans three kilometers. He stated that, for now, it is the first in Kedah and the longest in Malaysia.

Glow in the dark

The road, completed last Tuesday, is expected to enhance comfort and safety for road users during the night. The ‘glow in the dark’ feature utilizes sunlight collected during the day, providing a bright line at night.
