Government URGED to Remove Label “Kuil Haram” on a Map Applications

The recent argument on social media regarding the alleged “illegal” temple, or in Malay, “kuil haram,” has divided netizens’ opinions. Some state that the temples deserve to be there as they’re a house of worship. Others say the contrary.

X users state that if the opposite happened, there would’ve been national outrage citing that a house of worship should not be labeled as “haram.” However, when a temple is involved, it’s sadly seen as a “non issue.” 

Another user states that if a mosque was built on an illegal parcel of land, they would be alright with it being demolished. Someone asked if Israel is right in doing such things to Palestinians as they feel a similar thing is happening there.
