As it is, the brand is already in trouble as customers aren’t buying their products in lieu of the “merry-go-round” creative director changes and massive price increases.

Social media users say the Italian fashion house is no longer “luxury,” especially when they’re using AI for their photos. Furthermore, some have considered the brand or any fashion houses in its rank to no longer be luxurious in lieu of the heavy controversies surrounding them as it is.
Some people say they’d rather use counterfeit products now as there is a lack of creativity in the fashion industry. It is rare for a fashion brand to gain virality on X, but it seems that Gucci was able to break through this.
