PAS leader Abdul Hadi Awang, one great political strategist in Malaysia no doubt, was once a supporter of Madani, the concept promoted by PM Anwar Ibrahim for his 5 year term in the government.
See the picture below we caught from Twitter. It shows the various articles Hadi either wrote or commented upon and that speaks of Masyarakat Madani. Hebat ya! But the trick is, and you will hear of it sooner than later, that perhaps Hadi will now say ‘his’ Madani is not Anwar’s Madani. LOL.

Nevertheless, netizens are holding Hadi for his words, expressed in Harakah Daily from 2018 to 2022 in which he says the Prophet of Islam left Makkah to Madina to build a Masyarakat Madani. Kudos Anwar.
