Heavy Rain Traps 20 Vehicles in Putrajaya Flood

Heavy rain for about an hour from 4 pm yesterday caused at least 20 vehicles to be trapped due to flooding in Precinct 11 Zone 4A. Putrajaya Fire and Rescue Department Director Abdul Manaf Che Isa said two fire trucks with 13 personnel were dispatched to monitor the situation after receiving an emergency call at 4:44 pm.

The floodwaters receded around 5:30 pm. Firefighters helped drain water and clear blocked channels. Monitoring is ongoing with CCTV and the Putrajaya Command Centre (PPj).
