Hunger Strike To Demand Stronger Pandemic Solutions

1 min read

Kuala Lumpur: Projek Wawasan Rakyat Coordinator Nathaniel Tan says he will go on a hunger strike to demand stronger actions from the authorities in managing the Covid-19 crisis.

“I will sit at Jalan Rahim Kajai and Lorong Rahim Kajai 14, in TTDI. I will stay there and not eat until the 5 demands are met,” he says.

He says public policy experts should be given powers to take action against the rising number of cases.

He says, “If medical frontliners especially do not tell us what is really happening on the ground, we cannot fight Covid-19 effectively. We will not know how bad things are until it is too late.”
