In Malaysia, it’s pretty common for some men to marry multiple women as it is allowed in the laws of Islam. However, many who opt for having more than one wife tend to mislook on the religion’s requirements for having multiple wives. One of them being, treating them equally.
An anonymous man had mentioned that he gives his wife RM50 a month for her to spruce herself with makeup and skincare. Those who don’t know, even the cheapest sunscreen costs around RM30, and makeup from a reputable safe brand would be a few hundred ringgit.
Netizens are not happy with this man as he only makes RM1,500 a month after overtime and that is not enough for a single person, let alone for a man with two wives. Many also added on the costs of skin care products and they can cost more than RM50 for one item alone.
