However, netizens are happy that Ikea is showing their support towards our language. Twitter users are still arguing among each other on how certain individuals who are not keen on this.
Ikea prioritizing Bahasa Malaysia over English
A netizen spotted some Ikea signboards that are showing information in Bahasa Malaysia in bold on top of a more grayed out smaller text in English. Furthermore, others are saying that some Malaysians would prefer the contrary, in the sense where even the Bin/Binti in their names are disappearing.
Others are stating that the Swedish store has some issues in translating their original language to English. However, some are seeing this as an opportunity to volunteer themselves in order to help the brand improve on their Bahasa.
