Immigration rounds up over 50 undocumented foreigners in KL now

In a targeted Immigration Department operation across Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, over 50 undocumented foreigners were apprehended, focusing on key areas like Persiaran KLCC, Saloma bridge, and Bukit Bintang. Executed by 40 officers at 9.15 pm, the crackdown aims to combat illegal migrant presence in the city.

The operation concentrated on popular spots for migrant workers, including Pavilion, Suria KLCC, and Saloma bridge. Mainly from Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and the Philippines, those detained violated immigration laws, prompting further nationality breakdowns.
