Social Media Users Discussing Inappropriate Heart Signage for Locations

Apparently, an X user uploaded a photo of Hospital Alor Gajah and placed a sign saying I heart HAG, and states that it is not the wisest option to name such a place. Typically, the word hag is referenced to an older woman that is unattractive. This world is also used in an offensive manner.

Furthermore, in Batang, Indonesia they have a sign that is rather unconventional for Malaysians. I heart batang is seen as rather inappropriate for some as the term “batang” is used to refer to the male reproductive organ. 

Others state that these signs show that developers in the region appear to lack the social and cultural awareness of the younger generations. These signs would probably end up becoming memes.
