Following his divorce from his wife, an Indonesian man decided to demolish his 500 million rupiah (RM147,229) home which he built with his parent’s money on his ex-wife’s land.
Moh. Suaib of Pamekasan’s Desa Larangan Slampar made the decision because he did not want his wife to stay at the property any longer says an Indonesian paper, adding that the man refused to listen to those who did not want him to demolish the house arguing that his children will inherit it.
Suaib’s uncle, Abdul Hannan says, “Family members also tried talking to him but failed,” and the house was demolished with heavy machinery and assistance from neighbours.
