Indonesian man falls from 17th floor after attacking wife

An Indonesian man fell from the 17th floor of a condominium after st488ing his wife in an incident in Setapak near here yesterday. The incident at about 11.15 am is said to have happened when the 44-year-old man is believed to have argued with his wife before attacking the 37-year-old woman in the chest. The suspect then ran towards the balcony and fell from the 17th floor to the ground floor near the condominium’s swimming pool.

Wangsa Maju District Police Chief, Superintendent Ashari Abu Samah said, the investigation found that the argument initially stemmed from a misunderstanding between the suspect and the victim. “The suspect was found dead near the swimming pool on the ground floor.” The woman is said to be stable after getting treatment.
