Someone on X posted that one of their Instagram mutuals is randomly selling an Island in Indonesia for Rp 28 million. When converted, it’s only RM8,400. The bigger question is, would you buy an entire island for a price less than a Chanel pouch? Chanel pouches (not even a handbag) now can cost up to RM10,000.

Indonesians on X state that houses in their districts can literally cost more than 10x the price of this island. The Island is over 1.68 hectares wide and there are official documentations coming with it when you purchase this island.
However, many still find it odd that you can literally buy an island off Instagram for a reasonable price. Malaysians have yet to comment on the situation, as only Indonesians are allowed to buy land in their own country.
