Iran launched a missile strike on the southern Israeli city of Dimona, injuring at least 47 people. The attack appeared to target a nuclear facility located about 13 kilometers away. The nearby town of Arad was also hit, with Israeli emergency service Magen David Adom confirming it is treating numerous casualties.

Tehran said the strike followed an attack on its Natanz nuclear facility, though its atomic energy body assured surrounding areas remain safe. Meanwhile, U.S. Central Command reported that Iran’s ability to threaten ships in the Strait of Hormuz has been degraded after recent U.S. bombing of an underground facility.
