Kuala Lumpur: On Twitter, users are saying they found the reasons why some show a preference for the Pfizer vaccine.
This is after news reports in the US said women experienced breast enlargement after getting Pfizer injections. However, a report says a number of experts believe the symptoms of breast enlargement after injection of the Pfizer vaccine are actually an immunization reaction.
It occurs after the individual is injected into the arm, says Director of the University of California San Francisco Breast Care Center, Dr Laura Esserman.
The doctor says that when the individual is injected into the upper arm, it is normal for the lymph nodes to swell as part of the immunization response.
“I’m sure hundreds of thousands of women will experience this condition,” Esserman says.
Nevertheless, some are calling it ‘Pfizer breast augmentation’.
