KUALA LUMPUR — Former UMNO Supreme Council member Isham Jalil has ridiculed Khairy Jamaluddin’s suggestion that UMNO president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has a strong chance of becoming Prime Minister.

In a sarcastic Facebook post, Isham wrote: “What happened KJ? I thought you wanna be PM. So Zahid PM, you TPM, and then you PM? Wow, what a strategy.” He added, “It can be your triumph, or funeral. All the best and good luck.” Khairy had earlier argued on his Keluar Sekejap podcast that Zahid’s ability to manage UMNO’s internal differences makes him a credible contender.
