JOHOR BAHRU: The Johor government is allocating RM54.7 million to build and repair houses for the hardcore poor and less affordable in the state under the 2024 State Budget. Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi announced that RM22.79 million will go towards house repairs and RM32 million will fund the construction of 328 housing units.
Helping the hardcore poor
During his visit to Segamat, he highlighted the happiness of recipients who received a new house worth RM65,000 or whose home was repaired for RM15,000. He thanked various agencies for their cooperation in improving the quality of life for Johor residents.
