JOHOR BAHRU, Aug 27 — The Johor government has intensified monitoring of bridges, roads, dams, and other key infrastructure in Segamat after a third minor earthquake struck the district this morning. State Public Works Committee chairman Mohamad Fazli Mohamad Salleh said JKR, DID, and BAKAJ will conduct inspections, while Petronas will review its assets within the affected zone. Residents have been urged to stay vigilant and avoid high-rise areas. The 3.2 magnitude tremor, felt at 8.59am, followed earlier quakes of 4.1 and 3.0 in recent days. MetMalaysia confirmed no casualties or damage, though nearby Yong Peng also recorded a 2.8 quake.
